A small, but good impression of the Hooked event of 2012 this May. Hooked is the largest adventure sports event of Friesland and took place on 12 and 13 May on the beach of Workum. Kitesurfing and windsurfing are the main elements in which visitors can participate in lessons and watch how professional surfers do demonstrations. But Hooked has also other extreme sports, like BMX! Or longboarding, S.U.P. (stand up padle) and like last year again the BigAirBag! This year the event has grown bigger and as you can see, mother nature helped a little bit for the wind that was needed. Hooked è il più grande evento legato agli sport di avventura della Frisia (zona nel nord dell’Olanda) ed ha avuto luogo il 12 e 13 Maggio nella spiaggia di Workum. Kitesurf e windsurf sono gli elementi principali dove i visitatori hanno modo di partecipare a lezioni e guardare le dimostrazioni di surfers professionisti. Ma Hooked è anche fatto di sport estremi come BMX oppure longboarding, S.U.P. (Stand Up Paddle, disciplina legata al mondo del surf ) e come lo scorso anno ancora con il BigAirBag! Quest’anno l’evento è diventato più grande e come potete vedere madre natura ha aiutato un pò fornendo un pò di vento di cui avevamo bisogno.
