Can I try out the BigAirBag on location?
Yes, please sent us a message with your contact information, interested activity and location. We will check around your vicinity and come back to you with one or more possibilities.
Do you offer installation & training on location?
Yes, we offer on-site installation & training and we have a remote video service to re-train your staff. Please don’t use your BigAirBag before completion of full product on-site installation & training by our technicians.
Do you transport globally?
Yes, we ship globally. You can find BigAirBag in every continent.
How to choose the right size?
Based on the activity level (height, speed, weight, distance …etc.), we help clients to determine the size of the BigAirBag with maximum safety concern. With our abundant experience and professional trajectory analysis, we put all parameters into consideration to bring clients the best solution.
Below are some examples:
- Jumping from a freefall tower up to 8 meter height, a 10x10m sized BigAirBag Revolution would provide the best impact absorption and security. For jumps from max 5 meter high, a 6×6 m sized Adventure BigAirBag is recommended.
- For Olympic snowlanding, the jump distance features 18-22 m from kicker to knuckle, BigAirBag Snow Landing sizes vary between 50×20 & 62×24 m. For other Snow Landing sizes, we look at the target group and level of the visitors of the ski resorts, and advice the proper size alongside your needs. We are available for a call and curious to hear more about your needs.
- For an FMX landing, we base size on the dirt/wood landing distance of the users. We recommend the Landing BigAirBag with an extra 4 meter length compared to your dirt landing.
- For a Bike Landing, the length would be the same as the dirt landing + 4 meter extra for the run-out section or a Freestyle 10x8m is the preferred model because it covers the landing distance and is easy to transport and setup.
- For Skate and Inline with slower speed and lower kickers, there are smaller sized Freestyle models like an 8x6m or Adventure BigAirBags to choose.
- For Gymnastics BigAirBag, it can be the same size as the foam pit or tailor made size for every coach’s preference. For Olympic gymnastic performance, standard 7x6m with same height of the trampoline is ideal for take off from trampoline and vault.
Do you offer leasing options?
Yes, our leasing program is available for products with value over €30.000 and specific stock models for clients with good credit rating. Due diligence check applies here.
Which payment options do you offer?
(Down)payments of BigAirBags are paid through wire transfer to our Dutch or American (Bank of America) bank accounts.
Spare parts and accessoires can be bought directly on our webshop where we also accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

What is the price of a BigAirBag?
It subjects to the type and size of BigAirBag you choose. The average model starts at €10.000/$11.500 Please contact our sales team for a consulatative call and quote.
When purchasing, we require a downpayment of 25% for standard models and 50% of custom products. Full payment is required before shipment. Rentals also need to be paid for in full in advance.

How do I install my BigAirBag?
BigAirBag offers an onsite installation service and product training globally.
Alternatively you can book a video installation or request a digital copy of your manual from your account manager if you wish to re-read the installation steps.
What is the warranty on my BigAirBag?
Warranty period for BigAirBag is 4 years. Warranty of blowers is 1 year. BigAirBag provides warranty against all defects in workmanship or materials of the BigAirBag.
Warranties should be invoked by returning the product to BigAirBag no later than four (4) years after the date of shipping (carry-in warranty).
In respect of defects caused by wear and tear, improper handling, storage or other acts or omissions of the customer or of the third parties, BigAirBag is not liable to the damage of the products.

I want to try a BigAirBag out, where is the nearest one to my location?
Nice! We have installed over 4000 BigAirBag’s worldwide, chances are we have one close by. We have kept a public database for the first years, but it has become impossible to track all historical productions. Please contact your local resort to ask if they offer a BigAirBag or contact us to get more information about Rentals and Try & Buy solutions.
What is the Peace of Mind Service contract? And what is included?
The Peace of Mind Contract is a pre-paid service visit for a 20% deduction of the actual cost. In this case we will plan a visit to your BigAirBag when we are in the area, every 9-12 months of the duration of the contract.
The Peace of Mind Service Contract includes:
- On-site inspection of all components every 9-12 months
- Training & (re-)certification of operators
- Check of BigAirBag usage and risk analysis
- Re-certification of the product
- Logbook and administration update
- 20% discount on the standard annual inspection cost
- 10% discount on spare parts and extra materials

How can I change or cancel my order?
For custom made bags, you can change your order before it moves into production. Please contact your sales representative for any change requests. After production confirmation is released, there is no possibility to change or cancel the order.
For readily available stock, you can change or cancel your order up to 2 weeks before shipping.
For rental bags, you can change or cancel your order up to 4 weeks before shipping.
Can I replace a used BigAirBag for a new one?
Yes, you are welcome to replace a used BigAirBag for a new one. However, BigAirBag doesn’t have a buy-back guarantee. Considering global distances, it is often easier and more economical to re-sell a used BigAirBag locally. BigAirBag offers annual inspection and maintenance service to keep your BigAirBag in good condition for reselling. In case of interested clients nearby, BigAirBag is more than happy to refer the client to you.
We also have the possibility of refurbishing at our Factory in Amsterdam or on location and offer low cost storage space in our warehouse.
Do you sell second hand, discounted, or outlet bags?
Yes, sometimes we have special offers for stockbags or used product from customers. These usually sell very quickly. Please contact us to see what our current availability is.
What is the expected delivery date of my order?
Average production lead time is 4-8 weeks. Transportation time is subject to the shipping method chosen (road/seafreight or airfreight) and location.
Production starts after the receival of the required downpayment and confirmation of design. Our designers can help you create a awesome, custom design for your BigAirBag which is included in the price of your BigAirBag.
I am looking to buy a second hand BigAirBag, what should I look out for?
Request a copy of the maintenance logbook including the last service the BigAirBag has had by BigAirBag or a certified partner. Look for any tear points, use the maintenance checklist in the manual to make sure you check all possible points.
I want to sell my old BigAirBag, what are my options?
Considering global distances, it is often easier and more economical to re-sell a used BigAirBag locally. You are welcome to replace a used BigAirBag for a new one. However, BigAirBag doesn’t have a buy-back guarantee. BigAirBag offers annual inspection and maintenance service to keep your BigAirBag in good condition for reselling. In case of interested clients nearby, BigAirBag is more than happy to refer the client to you. How can I make sure I am up to date with the local regulations?
There are many different possibilities with our products as a BigAirBag is generally part of a larger installation. We recommend all operators to become member of your local association. For example:

- Bicycle association
- IAAPA, The Global Association for the Attractions Industry
- International Association of Trampoline Parks

Also please attach preferably video, and otherwise photos, of your issue.
Can I use my BigAirBag without a Topsheet?
The topsheet protects your BigAirBag from heavy impact and extends its lifetime.
A properly maintained Air Pit can be used without top sheet for a maximum of 4 weeks. Make sure you avoid any sharp or abrasive impact in this period of usage.
Other models cannot be used without the top sheet.

How can I access technical certificates? (Fire retardancy, TUV certificate, etc)
The BigAirBag is certified by TÜV, covering all elements. Basic information can be found in the back of your manual. Additional documentation is supplied on request only. Please contact your account manager with specific questions.

What pressure should my BigAirBag be at?
That depends on the model you operate. Please check your manual or request a copy from your account manager.
How often should I check my BigAirBag?

How do I book my annual inspection for my BigAirBag?

What can I do if my BigAirBag gets damaged during shipping?
Please make a clear note at the transport company so you have proof how the package was delivered.
Take pictures of the pallet before and after opening the package and send them to us that we can take care of the following procedures including advising to repair or swap, claiming at the forwarder etc.
Is my warranty valid worldwide?
Yes, BigAirBag warranty coverage is globally valid.
What wear and tear is covered?
Wear and tear caused by manufacturing mistakes is covered.
Wear and tear caused by transport or usage is not covered.
There has been an accident on my BigAirBag what should I do?
- Care about victim first: see SOP (download in pdf, coming soon)
- Call emergency services if needed
- Close user access, make surrounding area safe and accessible for emergency services
- Fill out a full accident report form, add photo’s, video’s & CCTV footage if available
- Find out if safety levels can be improved and if a similar accident can be prevented for the future
- Inform BigAirBag and book a refresher staff-training or an external risk inspector if needed
I have an airbag but it’s not a BigAirBag, can you guys help me or give me advice? Can you provide spare parts?

How often should I check my BigAirBag?

The BigAirBag alarm system keeps going off
- Test the alarm with the test button
- Make sure all cables are properly connected
- If you are only using one blower, make sure that only one blower switch is set to “ON” and the other set to “OFF”.
- If you are using two blowers, make sure both are working
- Make sure the blower and power supply work by connecting them directly to the power supply
- If you have the pressure failure alarm, check the pressure with the pressure measurement kit and refer to the pressure chart to ensure the correct pressure is set
There is a tear in the BigAirBag
If there is a tear in the PVC material, use the supplied hot air welder and spare material in your maintenance kit. Check out an examle video of how to use a hot air welder here

I think my BigAirBag is too hard / firm
Open air windows more to release more pressure from the BigAirBag. Do this in small increments because the pressure setting is sensitive. Check the pressure with the pressure measurement tool and refer to pressure measurement table.
I think my BigAirBag is too soft
- Make sure all zippers are closed.
- Check all air windows to make sure they are closed.
- Listen, feel and watch closely for any holes or leakage around the BigAirBag.
- Make sure the blower tubes are free of any kinks.
- Check the pressure with the pressure measurement tool and refer to pressure measurement table.
- Check if the power supply to the blower is sufficient. When this is insufficient, the blower will not run at full strength. Plug out all blower, and plug them in 1 after the other with 60 seconds in between.
My blower is making a strange sound
Please make sure the blower is placed properly: clear of any obstacles that can block the air inlet or any material that can be sucked onto the airinlet. Turn off the blower and place a vacuum on the air inlet
Did the blower drop on a hard surface or did you operate the BigAirBag on a hard surface without placing foam underneath the blower? Then the internal engine might malfunction. It is always cheaper and easier to replace the blower than to fix it. Purchase one here.
